NSLC1 - Laetiporus cincinatus
- Cultured from a wild specimen at Winslow Farm in Falmouth ME. Distinct from sulphureus, cincinatus has a paler, creamier color.
NSLS1 - Laetiporus sulphureus
- Cultured from a wild specimen growing on oak at Winslow Farm in Falmouth ME. We use this strain for outdoor spawn--cultivating Chicken of the Woods is an experimental effort, and we recommend sterilizing sections of oak and incubating them in filter patch bags for several months before burying it under 2 inches of soil.
NSLS2 - Laetiporus sulphureus
- Cultured from a wild specimen growing at Overlook Farm in Windham, ME.
